Big news out of the DMV music community—"Thank God" is officially a finalist for the 2026 Wammie Awards! Remedy's featured work on the album “Thank God” (produced by Da Fingaz and Friends) has earned a spot in the Best Gospel/Inspirational Album category.
The Wammies are the DC area’s premier music awards, recognizing the artists and albums that move the region forward. This year, “Thank God” stands out—not just for its uplifting sound, but for its spirit of collaboration. Remedy’s powerful writing and rapping on “Bring Me Back to Life” brought a raw, authentic energy to the record. The entire project is a celebration of hope, faith, and resilience, featuring an all-star cast of talent.
As Da Fingaz put it: “Grateful to create across cultures. Grateful to collaborate with incredible artists. Grateful to represent the DMV.” The Wammies are about more than trophies—they’re about community, creativity, and making music matter.
The awards ceremony will be held Saturday, March 28 at Capital Turnaround in SE DC. If you believe in the power of local music, now’s your chance to show up—tickets are available at wammies.org and they’re sure to go fast.
This moment isn’t just a win for Remedy—it’s about shining a light on everyone who puts their heart into making music that matters.
To all the supporters, collaborators, and fans: thank you. Let’s celebrate this together, and keep pushing music forward.
